Just like a physical office or store needs to be maintained, your web site will also need to be maintained. Whether it is updating text, removing information, adding articles, expanding products or any other number of changes come over time, web site maintenance is a very important factor in managing your online business.
Web Maintenance Plans
Our web maintenance fee is $40 per hour purchased in blocks, pre-purchased monthly, with the smallest amount of time being 5 hours. All hours over the amount pre-purchased will be billed to client at $40/per hour once time limit has been reached, based on projected remaining time to complete updates. We offer discount pricing for pre-purchasing larger time blocks.
Plan A – 5 hrs – $200 ($40/ hour)
Plan B – 10 hrs – $350 ($35/ hour)
Plan C – 20 hrs – $600 ($30/ hour)
Plan D – 40 hrs – $1000 ($25/ hour – that’s a savings of $600)
What does web site maintenance cover?
Web site maintenance can include any of the following:
Updating text, updating photographs, graphic design work, uploading new files to your server, transferring files to a new server, backing up files, updating contact information, adding products, installing Word press plug ins, troubleshooting Word press plug in errors, adding or removing search engine tags, adding or removing links to other sites, etc.
You will also receive a priority phone number that is not published and used for active web maintenance and hosting clients only, to make sure that in the case of an emergency you are able to reach us. If we are with another client at the time of your call, you will be called back within 4 hours during normal business hours M-F and within 12 hours over the weekend. You will also be supplied a priority email address that will reach us even when we are offline-no matter where we are, which you can expect an even faster response to.
What is not included in web site maintenance?
Web site redesigns are not included in your maintenance package unless we agree otherwise, which includes changes to your site’s structure and core design. In most cases, you will want to request a web redesign quote rather than have your web site rebuilt at an hourly rate because of the amount of time that goes into redesigning a web site. How long is my monthly rate good for?
All hours must be used for the month for which they were purchased-they do not roll over. All web maintenance clients are guaranteed that the package that they choose will not go up in price per hour for at least 1 year as long as there is no a lapse in service or payment of services. If you maintain the monthly maintenance package with Olea Works, your price will stay the same per hour for the same package selected, including all discount for volume purchasing, for one year or longer.
