A website is never really finished. Plugins release updates every week, new security threats appear constantly, and a site that loaded quickly two years ago can slow to a crawl. Our website maintenance plans keep your site backed up, protected, up to date and fast, so you can run your business instead of babysitting software.
Olea Works has been looking after business websites since 2000. We are based in Bakersfield, California, and care for sites for small businesses across the US. Every plan is built around WordPress, and every plan includes hosting when your site lives on Olea Works servers.
All three plans include daily off-site backups, security monitoring with a firewall, and WordPress core, theme and plugin updates. The difference is how closely we watch your site, how fast we respond and how much support time you get each month.

Backups, security monitoring and updates for sites that just need to stay safe and current.
Everything in Basic Care plus uptime monitoring, a monthly report and a small support allowance.
More support hours, performance tuning and the fastest response for busy or revenue-critical sites.
Basic Care ($79 a month) is the essentials plan for owners who want their site backed up, protected and kept current, without needing regular support time.
Standard Care ($149 a month) suits most active business websites: everything in Basic Care, plus closer monitoring and an hour of support each month for the small jobs every site needs.
Priority Care ($299 a month) is for businesses whose website brings in leads or sales every day and cannot afford surprises.
Included hours cover the small, everyday jobs: updating text or photos, adding a team member or a new service, adjusting a form, fixing a layout that looks off on phones, answering “how do I…” questions, or looking into an error message. Bigger projects, such as a new section of your website, are quoted separately.
With many maintenance plans, you never really see where the time went. Olea Works shows you. Every minute of support work is logged with a description of what was done, and you can check it any time in the Hours tab of your client portal:
Included hours reset each billing month and do not roll over, so the Hours tab makes it easy to plan your requests.
Olea Works hosts client websites, and hosting is included free with every care plan when your site is hosted with us.
The full hosting rules are in section 14 of our Service Terms.
A Hosting Move takes your existing website to a new hosting company exactly as it is. It costs $149, and it is free when you move to Olea Works hosting with a care plan.
Moving email accounts is quoted separately. A Hosting Move does not change your website’s platform or design. Moving from Wix to WordPress, for example, is a Website Platform Upgrade or Change.
After-Hours On-Call is a $149-a-month add-on for businesses that need help available outside regular business hours.
Our regular business hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Pacific, excluding US holidays.
Speed Optimization is a one-time $349 project that finds what is slowing your website down and fixes it.
Slow pages lose visitors before they ever see your offer, and page speed is one of the signals search engines consider. One honest note: the quality of your hosting affects how fast any site can be. If your host is holding you back, we will tell you.
Hosting for sites without a care plan. Hosting is included free with every Olea Works care plan.
Just changing hosting companies? We move your existing website to its new server as is, with no rebuild and no redesign. Free when you move to Olea Works hosting with a care plan.
Evening, weekend and holiday coverage for the sites that cannot wait until morning.
Audit and fixes for page speed and Core Web Vitals: caching, images, scripts and database cleanup.
Our team follows the same update and monitoring routine Olea Works has refined over more than two decades of caring for client websites.
Every Olea Works website maintenance plan includes daily off-site backups, security monitoring with a firewall, WordPress core, theme and plugin updates, and hosting when your site is hosted with us. Standard and Priority Care add 24/7 uptime monitoring, health reports and monthly support hours.
Yes. Hosting is included free with every care plan when your site is hosted with Olea Works. If you cancel your plan, hosting can continue as Standalone Hosting for $35 a month.
Unused hours do not roll over to the next month. Your client portal shows hours used and remaining at any time, so you can plan your requests.
It depends on your plan: next business day on Basic, same business day on Standard and within 4 business hours on Priority. For evenings, weekends and holidays, the After-Hours On-Call add-on targets a response within 2 hours.
